April 2012 sees a special edition of Glass International, as it features the Glassman Latin America 2012 catalogue, including a guide to exhibitors, floorplan, and a products and services guide. The event, which takes place at Mexico City’s World Trade Centre on 15th – 16th May, is dedicated to showcasing primary glassmaking equipment, systems, services and technologies and will feature more than 70 exhibitors from across the globe.
The second part of a Focus Latin America feature continues this theme and looks at the other dominant regions of the market, including Brazil and Argentina.
In addition to this month’s exhibition-themed section, there is a host of technical articles focusing on melting technology, quality control and forming, while a profile of one of the UK’s most historic and important glass producers – Beatson Clark – details how it has diversified successfully from purely a pharmaceutical glass specialist, to an established supplier in the food and beverage sectors.
