Asahi Glass Co (AGC) has donated disaster-resistant glass to a school which suffered terrible damage during a recent tornado.

A total of 150m2 of glass at the school gymnasium was replaced with AGC’s disaster-resistant glass, which has improved the readiness of the elementary school against natural disasters.

The disaster resistant glass is for use against natural disasters such as earthquakes, strong winds and typhoons. AGC donated the glass to Moka Elementary School in Moka City, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan.
