Arkema commissions CVD flat glass process

Arkema, one of the world leaders in glass coatings for the flat glass industry, has commissioned its online chemical vapour deposition (CVD) flat glass coating system, with two multi-slot coaters for low-E glass, at Hebei Yingxin Glass Group’s float line in Shahe City, Hebei Province, China.

The CVD coating system can deposit a full range of Arkema’s hard coated Certincoat coatings, including low-E glass and SunLite products.

“Hebei Yingxin Glass Group is now in a position to help fulfill the growing demand for low-E glass in the Chinese market, especially in Northern China,” said David Dai, Global CVD Manager for Arkema.
