Glass Futures has appointed Mace as Project Managers for the initial phase.

Mace is an international consultancy and construction company with revenues of £2billion.

John Egerton, Mace Associate Director, taking responsibility for the Glass Futures project, has a proven track record in project and programme management delivery.

"He is responsible for the manufacturing sector practice at Mace and has led a number of successful projects such as the development of the High Temperature Research Centre (HTRC), a collaboration between Rolls-Royce and the University of Birmingham.

Brian McMillan, Glass Futures Chairman, said: “Mace’s appointment as Project Managers demonstrates our confidence in the Glass Futures project which we anticipate will involve a total capital spend in the order of £35million. We very much look forward to working with John Egerton and his colleagues.”
