Five more companies are among those to have this week confirmed their participation at the Glassman hollow glass event.

German IS machine manufacturer GPS, Ametek Land, Entegris, Giancarlo Perego and Spain’s Picvisa have all signed to exhibit at Glassman Europe.

The free to attend conference and exhibition takes place in Lyon, France on September 6 and 7.

GPS Glasproduktions-Service (GPS) has developed and manufactured IS machines and components for container glass production for more than 90 years.

Ametek Land is a specialist in the design and manufacture of monitors and analysers for industrial infrared temperature measurement, combustion efficiency and environmental pollutant emissions.

Entegris has been a provider of critical products and materials used in advanced high-technology manufacturing for 50 years. Its Glassmate materials ensure optimum performance and increased throughput for hot glass handling applications.

Giancarlo Perego of Trezzano, Italy, has supplied a range of moulds for the glass industry for more than 40 years.

Picvisa supplies optical sorting solutions for glass recycling. It defines, develops and produces selection and sorting equipment by composition and by colour.

Glassman Europe is a niche event that brings together international experts, glass container manufacturers and businesses that use glass containers to discover the latest innovations which include energy efficiency, quality control, packaging, logistics and decorative possibilities.

The event includes two free conferences: one focused ion Industry 4.0 in glassmaking, the other focused on trends in glassmaking. In addition the European Container Glass Federation (FEVE) will host its Policy and Environment meeting at the event, where about 30 of its members will attend.
