Technical Directors and Plant Managers from the international glass container community will meet in Lyon on 5th May 2015 – the day before the Glassman Europe exhibition takes place in the French city – for a workshop devoted to the critical subject of safety: ‘Safety in the plant – Safety for consumers’.

Organised and hosted by Heye International, this invitation-only meeting will emphasise the importance of safety for glass plants, as well as their customers.

Heye International has worked closely with representatives from Iris Inspection machines to create an interesting half-day English language programme.

Speakers from Heye will review the application of Industry 4.0 concepts in the Heye SpeedLine IS Machine in combination with the Heye Multilevel Safety Concept.

The latest innovations in glass container inspection will also be discussed, with Heye highlighting the PlantPilot information management system and the non-contact features of its SmartLine series.

Iris Inspection machines is presenting the latest advances in Evolution non-contact inspection systems.

The event starts at 12:00, with a brunch/lunch and that evening, and customers will be entertained at a dinner in Lyon.

Heye International and Iris Inspection machines will both participate independently at Glassman Europe exhibition, which returns to Cité de Congrès, Lyon on 6-7 May 2015.
