Stölzle has designed the bottle for Balmain for Men, a perfume flacon that transfers the unique character of the fragrance created by Interparfums.

The customer requested a flacon that reflects the characteristics of a free, audacious, urban man, by using a rectangular, straight and classic shape.

The result is a sprayed blue body and sharp square-cut shoulders, meant to install the image of a self-confident man wearing his best suit in order to impress the woman of his dreams.

Continuing this theme, the bottle was designed so the ‘man’ is wearing a fashionable hat, which is symbolised by the flacon’s black cap, with a flying eagle on top of it.

The design, which was evolved by Stölzle Glass Group’s development team, creates this intended emotional connotation to the customers who are attracted by the fragrance.

Stölzle says that the red line, which surrounds the shoulders of the tailored-dressed man, highlights the dominant male attitude.

Furthermore, the bottle is intended to combine both the active, powerful but calm characteristic part of a man’s attitude, and underlines this with the chosen red and blue colors.

From the manufacturing point of view, the thick bottom base and the strong walls can be seen as a powerful combination aimed to underline the luxury aspect of the fragrance.

The bottle comes in 60ml and 100ml and is available throughout selected perfumery stores and the Balmain’s website.

The bottle is manufactured in Masnières, one of Stoelzle’s six European production sites.

This plant focuses on the production of Perfumery & Cosmetic bottles for exporting globally.
