The idea of the Sequential Batching Module (SBM) is to adapt the mixing sequences of the batch plant so that a sequence of mixing cycles with different raw materials is achieved before mixing the final batch ingredients altogether.
This sequential batching, which is already known in literature and partly in industry, is expected to have advantages in terms of homogenisation and rapid melting. Zippe has the full capability to implement it if requested by a customer.
For it Zippe has developed the module as an add-on with which existing Zippe-batch plants can also be upgraded. A careful analysis by Zippe software engineers will first determine if the SBM can be implemented. Then, after programming, the software upgrade will be implemented on site.
Zippe has recently successfully realised the Sequential Batching Module.
