Welcome to the bumper April 2016 issue of Glass International that contains an eclectic mix of exclusive interviews with industry leaders and groundbreaking technical features.

The April edition is the show issue for the forthcoming Glassman Middle East event so has an emphasis on the region. It includes an interview with the Director of Iranian tableware manufacturer, Noritazeh, Mr Saeed Kalafchi and an overview of the UAE’s impressive hollow glassmaking capacity.

Alongside this are exclusive interviews with new ICG President Mr Manoj Choudhary, who encourages more youngsters to join the industry, and an interview with Mr Semih Ozbay, General Manager at Park Cam, who discusses the company’s new production site.

In addition, we also interview Barbara Antonini, of Italian lehr manufacturer Antonini, which this year celebrates its 70th anniversary.
