March 2014

The latest issue of Glass International includes an interview with O-I’s European President Erik Bouts.

Speaking on the first-year anniversary of his appointment as European President, Mr Bouts discusses the company’s latest plans for its European operation.

Ahead of the China Glass event next month, the issue also contains an in-depth focus of the Chinese glass container industry and a Q&A with the China National Association for Glass Industry.

In the Recycling feature, global beverage manufacturer Carlsberg talks about its Circular Community, while Zero Waste Scotland discusses some recent good news for the Scottish glass recycling industry.

The issue also contains a profile on the International Commission on Glass (ICG) while technical features are supplied by Rio Tinto Minerals, Dr Schenk and Lattimer, among plenty of others.
