Glass International Issue
November 2012

November 2012

Welcome to the November 2012 issue of Glass International.

As usual the team has been hard at work ensuring the most informative and relevant articles are published.

The edition starts with a profile of UK group Quinn Glass and an interview with its Managing Director Adrian Curry.

Then, in the first of a regular column from British Glass, its Chief Executive Dave Dalton explains a new approach aimed at raising the profile of the glass manufacturing sector.

May 2013 sees the Glassman Europe event take place in Warsaw, Poland. We have an overview of the Polish glass industry and how the major manufacturers are driving demand. It is a thriving industry in an enviable geographical location close to many countries.

DSF Refractories' Wade Cooke then explains how mullites are not all the same while Gerresheimer discusses sources and control of pharmaceutical glass particles.

The Glass Decoration feature includes articles from Israel's Dip-tech and Laserlines of the UK, while the Mould feature has papers from Vertech and an article on the European mould industry.

All this plus a glasstec/solarpeq review and the usual round up of industry news.
