The Association of Italian Glass Technicians (A.T.I.V.) has issued a call for papers for its 30th annual ‘Advances in glass processes: Key innovation topics in hollow and flat glass’ conference.
The deadline for papers, which must be submitted in English, is the 15th May.
This year the A.T.I.V. conference will take place during Vitrum 2015 in Milan, an exhibition dedicated to glass technology that is co-organised by A.T.I.V. and Vitrum.
A five member technical commission has been formed, which includes two members with expertise in the flat glass sector, two in hollow glass, and a coordinator.
The commission will evaluate the applications (based on their innovative qualities and application in an industrial field) and select the 12 proposals that will be presented during the conference.
Applications can be submitted by clicking on the ‘Call for papers’ link on the A.T.I.V. website.
With this new event, A.T.I.V. and Vitrum aim to strengthen their joint commitment to informing the glass community about the technical solutions applied to the valuable material of glass.
