AFGM announces new Chairman

The ASEAN Federation of Glass Manufacturers (AFGM) has announced that its new Chairman will be Renato Y. Cabrera, Jr of San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corporation in the Philippines.

The news was announced at the 34^th ASEAN?Glass Conference, which took place on the Philippine island of Boracay in October 2010.

Every two years, a new AFGM Chairman is selected. Mr Cabrera, who was previously one of its Vice Chairmen, succeeds Prasert Maekwatana of Berli Jucker.

Meanwhile, it was also announced that the 35^th ASEAN Glass Conference will take place in Thailand in 2011.
