AGC has extended its worldwide warranty for its Pyrobel fire-resistant glass from five to ten years.
The company's Pyrobel brand offers a full range of reliable and durable fire-resistant solutions.
Pyrobel and Pyrobelite laminated fire-resistant glazing utilise transparent intumescent interlayers to resist fire anywhere from 15 to 180 minutes.
The products are available in different classes delivering different levels of protection: Integrity, Integrity and Limited Heat Radiation, Integrity and Insulation.
AGC's extended warranty applies to Pyrobel and Pyrobelite in any application with a four-sided frame, in both single glazing and insulated glazing units.
The warranty covers various types of optical defects, including haze and bubbles.
The warranty is valid only if AGC's instructions on processing, packing, storage, transportation, installation, use and maintenance have been strictly followed .
01The ten-year warranty period applies to all Pyrobel and Pyrobelite glass invoiced on or after 1st September 2020.
The guarantee will be activated if AGC accepts the claim, and the glazing will subsequently be replaced and delivered free of charge.
