Two more speakers have been added to the programme of a glass manufacturing conference in Mexico City.
Glass technology suppliers Ametek Land and AGR International will each provide a conference presentation at the Glassman Latin America two-day event.
Ametek Land’s Philippe Kerbois, Global Industry Manager – Glass, will provide a paper titled Enhancing the decarbonisation of glass plants with the integration of AMETEK Land's latest thermal imaging technology and improved thermal software.
In it, he will discuss the combination of AMETEK Land’s NIR-B-2K high-definition thermal imager and the IMAGEPro Glass software.
The NIR-B-2K thermal imaging camera can be installed inside a glass melt tank to ensure continuous monitoring of batch melting and burners optimisation and improve efficiency.
AGR’s Director of Research, Bill Slusser, and Marta de la Torre will provide a paper titled Leveraging Glass Container Testing to Validate Sustainability.
The Glassman Latin America trade show and conference takes place on May 15 and 16 in Mexico City. Registration is now open and is free to attend.
The trade show will include numerous glass manufacturing technology suppliers who will discuss the latest trends and equipment innovations in the industry.
The accompanying conference will focus on the themes of Decarbonisation in Glass Manufacturing and Digital Glassmaking.
