Ardagh wins Edrington’s Supplier of the Year award

Edrington presents Supplier of the Year award to Ardagh Glass Packaging at Ardagh's Irvine facility

Ardagh Glass Packaging has been awarded a supplier of the year award from Edrington.

Ardagh has been a major supplier of Edrington’s spirit bottles for more than 30 years, producing premium bottles for brands such as The Famous Grouse and Brugal rum.

Edrington said it was impressed with Ardagh’s 100% quality record during the year.

In addition to the Supplier of the Year award, Edrington also presented Ardagh with a Gold award for its 2020 performance.

“This is a great result for the business, and I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the teams at Irvine, Barnsley and Knottingley in the UK who have delivered the quality that has made us stand out, particularly during the huge challenges of 2020,” said Nick Witton, Ardagh Glass Packaging Sales Director UK.

Ardagh and Edrington have recently signed a long-term contract for increased volume in the UK and for Brugal rum in the Dominican Republic
