A conference in Bangkok focused on the hot and cold ends of a glass manufacturing facility has been finalised.

A total of 13 speakers will discuss aspects of glassmaking such as the impact of AI, decarbonisation, alternative fuels, actionable data and digitalisation.

It will also include a recent success story in the industry with the start up of Qatar’s first container glass manufacturing facility.

The Glassman Asia conference takes place at the BITEC exhibition centre, Bangkok, Thailand, on February 12 and 13.

Aspects of glass manufacturing to be discussed include process such as furnaces, inspection and annealing.

The conference, and trade show, are both free to attend.

The conference language is English with Thai translation available.
