Independent consultant Neil Simpson is to host two furnace-related courses a Basics of Combustion course.
The basics of combustion course takes place on Monday June 3, while Furnace Optimisation Using In-furnace Thermal Imaging will be held the following day.
Mr Simpson said: “By using data files from oxy fuel, regenerative end-fired and cross-fired furnaces I will show how the thermal data can be interpreted and used to potentially increase pull/yield, reduce energy and emissions, with the underlying goal to protect the furnace asset.”
Both courses will be held at Ametek Land’s facility in Dronfield, UK.
Anyone attending the SGT Furnace Solutions or Training Day will be eligible for a discount.
