Beneq, a provider of thin-film coating equipment, has released plans to open operations in Russia and the CIS.??
Following the investment of €25 million in the company by RUSNANO in April 2012, and as a part of its planned expansion into existing and emerging markets, it is opening a subsidiary company in Russia.
In addition to opening offices, it is launching an application development and service laboratory, AppLab, which will promote and implement thin-film technologies and create products and industrial solutions for Russia and global markets.?
Mr Sampo Ahonen, Beneq Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said: “Establishing a local office in Russia is a definite and very concrete move in providing our customers with the best possible services. It is also a step in Beneq’s long-term plan of gaining a leading position in industrial production and laboratory equipment for nano-scale thin films and functional coatings in Russia.”
