Bovone and Salem Distributing Company (Salem) has chosen long-time Machinery Sales Director Doug Mangus to head up Bovone North America (Bovone NA), due to be fully operational in 2020.
Mr Mangus was selected as General Manager based on the experience gained over numerous years of working at Bovone's Italian headquarters.
Thanks to his knowledge of the company, its history, its values, and its processes, combined with experience in the North American market, Mr Mangus has taken up the challenge of achieving the many important goals in a strategic market for Bovone.
Mike Willard, CEO/Owner of Salem, said: “As one of our own, Doug is the obvious choice for this position as General Manager for Bovone NA. He has assessed operations, consulted on and sold machinery and is the pivotal contact for Salem’s customers.”
Federica Bovone, CEO of Elettromeccanica Bovone, added: “We are excited about this new venture.
