The British Glass Manufacturers’ Confederation has appointed Dave Dalton as Chief Executive Officer and James Chisholm as Chief Financial Officer. It has also promoted Environmental Manager John Stockdale to Environmental Director.
Having reassessed the needs of the industry, the Council and former Director General David Workman mutually agreed a way forward for the confederation.
“The modern manufacturing trade association needs a comprehensive understanding of issues and the restructuring of British Glass will enable the organisation to service the future needs of the glass supply sector at national and international level,” said Stephen Pollock-Hill, the recently appointed President of British Glass.
Speaking of his appointment, Dave Dalton said: “The glass industry faces many issues and I’m confident that we can meet those challenges with the professional team of people that we have here.”
