The British Glass Manufacturers’ Confederation will hold its annual Glass Focus Conference on the 16th May 2014 at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel in London.

The evening dinner will feature the ceremony for its inaugural Glass Focus Industry Awards.

Themed ‘Innovation within glass and the supply chain’, this year’s conference will feature keynote speeches from Ruth Miller, Senior Economist at the Confederation of British Industry, and Government Ministers.

The list of confirmed speakers in the break-out sessions includes key representatives from Siemens, SAB Miller, Glass Technology Services (GTS), Bottero, Vivid Economics, James O’Callaghan of Eckersley O’Callaghan and Dr Jane Muncke, MD at the Food Packaging Forum Foundation.

The speakers will be covering areas such as the economic landscape, developments in technology, current and future thinking around environmental issues, developments in food packaging, architecture and design and innovations within glass.

The conference attracted over 150 delegates from the UK and internationally in 2013 and another strong turnout is expected this year, with senior representatives from across the glass supply chain.

This includes glass manufacturers, processors, brand owners, retailers, designers, architects and recycling companies.
