Bucher Emhart organised a successful ‘Mould Design/Product Development’ workshop in the city of St. Petersburg, Florida, from the 10th to the 14th of October.
Dominique Vassaux from Bucher Emhart Glass and Pedro Pontes from Empakglass, conducted the five day training workshop.
Participants learned the current common product/parison/mould design development rules and technologies used within the mould design and production workflow.
The seminar was attended by participants from Piramal Glass, of Missouri and New Jersey, USA; Ardagh Group (Indiana, USA); and O-I members from the Netherlands.
This multicultural set-up was much appreciated as it gave participants the opportunity to exchange experiences with people from different glass container plants within the same - or related - fields of work, and even from different backgrounds.
