Canadian float glass plant will create local jobs

A proposed float glass manufacturing facility set to be built in Ontario, Canada could create up to 350 local jobs.

The Hong Kong-based company, Xinyi Canada, said it will recruit up to 400 people full-time at the manufacturing facility.

The site will be constructed near the city of Guelph, about 100km west of Toronto.
