CelSian will host an introductory training course on glass technologies in the UK this May.
The five-day training course will take place on May 13-17 in Yorkshire, UK.
The course will take place from 9:00 to 17:30 (CET) each day.
The training will provide a global overview of key glass making technologies from raw materials to the glass forming process.
It is suitable for new entrants to the glass industry and can also serve as a refresher for more experienced ones.
At the end of the training, CelSian believes attendees will have a clear view of the industrial glass production process, an understanding of the current and future challenges, and plenty of ideas to optimise their glass forming process.
The course was also developed in co-operation with the National Committee of the Dutch Glass Industry (NCNG).
Speakers include CelSian trainers Corrine Claireaux, Glass Scientist, Sjoerd Stelwagen, Project Manager, and Neil Simpson, Independent Consultant at Simpson Combustion and Energy.
