CelSian is to run an “Electric systems for glass melting - Introductory training” course online over four sessions in June.
The course will cover all basic requirements for companies to use electric melting during four online afternoon sessions (2-6 PM CET), from June 15 to June 18.
The training focuses on supply and hardware, from the electrical grid down to the electrodes and beyond, to provide attendees with a pragmatic level of understanding of the whole system.
CelSian believes the technology readiness level of electric or hybrid furnaces is highly ranked by major global institutes and it says electrical energy will certainly play a major role in the future of glass melting.
Training costs 1950€ per participant, 1800€ for each extra participant per company.
