Chinese investor for soda ash plant

A Chinese investor will reportedly contribute to the construction of a soda ash plant in Gomel Oblast, Belarus.

The Construction and Architecture Ministry of Belarus and a Chinese company have signed an investment agreement, said Anatoly Lis, Deputy Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Minister.

The plant will have an annual capacity of 280,000 tonnes of soda ash, for supply to glass and other industries.
