The conference programmes for the Glassman South America event have been finalised.
The two conferences have been organised by Glass International publication and the Brazilian Glass Commission (ABCeram).
The Future Glass Forum (FGF), organised by Glass International, will focus on the latest trends in glassmaking. It will include papers related to Industry 4.0 and digital glassmaking.
The Glassman conference, organised by ABCeram will investigate approaches to glassmaking and the various processes.
Keynote speakers at the FGF include Abividro Brazilian glass association. Its Secretary General, Lucien Belmonte will provide an overview of the Brazilian glass sector.
The other keynote speaker is AB InBev’s Aline Casagrande, who will talk about ABI’s Sustainability Strategy.
Speakers at the ABCeram conference include Renato Pereira da Silva Junior, Technical Manager, Air Products Oxygen, who will discuss Oxygen in glass furnaces and Edison Toporcov, Glass consultant, who will discuss Industry 4.0 and changes to the shop floor.
