Glass makers around the world have joined the battle against the Covid-19 virus.
A number of container glass packagers have produced bottles which are filled with hand sanitiser.
Among those are O-I New Zealand, AGI Glaspac of India and Gallo Glass of USA.
In New Zealand, O-I Glass said it was proud to have supported Good George Brewery with a flint version of its 946ml Made in New Zealand Squealer bottle.
The brewery switched some of its distillery to make hand sanitiser, in response to shortages across the country.
In India, AGI Glaspac collaborated with the Cheers Group for the manufacture of hand sanitiser in AGI Glaspac’s liquor glass bottles.
In USA, employees at Gallo Glass volunteered to bottle and hand-apply labels to a hand sanitiser bottle the Californian company is producing.
