EME Maschinenfabrik Clasen is to build another batch plant in Mexico.
The German group has received an order from Bilbao, Spain based Vicrila and the scope of supply includes all key components for dosing, weighing and mixing as well as the cullet return system and the control system for the complete line.
Vicrila has began an internationalisation process and plans to start a tableware production factory in Mexico in early 2014.
Initially, production will start with one melting furnace, however, the batch plant has been prepared for the addition of a second furnace at a later date.
EME said it is currently installing a huge container glass plant in Mexico and that the country remains a promising and successful region.
