A new company, named International Glass Specialists, has been formed in Kingsport in the state of Tennessee, USA.
In a letter to industry members, the company’s President, Alan W Hunter, said: ‘As the name implies, our company is comprised of a number of glass industry professionals with many years’ experience in all aspects of flat glass production and distribution. Our company will be importing high-quality flat glass products from manufacturers around the world for distribution out of our warehouse in Charleston, South Carolina.
Mr Hunter continued that International Glass Specialists’ initial inventory would include polished wire, acid etched and patterned glass and that the company expected to add to this list in the future.
