Fives Stein, through its Chinese subsidiary Fives Stein (Shanghai) Industrial Furnace Co and its Belgian subsidiary Fives Stein Belgium, is implementing a contract for Chinese glassmaker AVIC (Hainan) Special Glass Materials Co.
The contract comprises the design, supply and commissioning of a complete tin bath for a new float glass line with a maximum daily production capacity of 600 tons.
This state-of-the-art line, dedicated to the production of solar glass and special glass, will be located in China’s Hainan region. The start-up is scheduled for the end of 2011.
