Forglass has completed the modernisation of a batch house at Polish tableware manufacturer Trend Glass’s Szydłowiec site.
At the proposal stage, Forglass created a 3D model of the jointly developed reconstruction concept, together with a detailed work schedule.
As a result, it was possible to obtain technological guidelines in a short period of time and to start the planning and coordination of construction work.
High quality and rapid delivery are virtually guaranteed by the fact that Forglass owns all of its fabrication facilities, all of which are located in Poland.
The scope of work included:
the modernisation of the raw material dosing system;
a system to transport the batch to the furnace
a new cullet management system; and
delivery of a new system for process control and visualisation.
Forglass performed beyond the client’s expectations and delivered the project under budget and ahead of schedule.
