All spaces at the Furnace Solutions 8 conference at Ceram, Stoke-on-Trent, UK on Thursday, June 6 have sold out.
Conference organiser the Society of Glass Technology also said its Refractory Training day had also sold out too. The training day takes place at the same venue on Wednesday June 5.
It is the first time the event has sold out with three weeks still to go.
Furnace Solutions conferences deal entirely with ‘practical’ glassmaking issues and are targeted at glassmakers, furnace equipment and specialist materials suppliers.
The conference’s informal format allows delegates to share their experiences, and discuss solutions to some of today’s glass melting challenges.
The meeting attracts up to 100 delegates - from the UK, mainland Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, Israel, Japan, Mexico and the USA - representing many of the world’s major glassmakers and equipment suppliers.
