futronic has changed its name to Bucher Automation.

The company said the name change would make its affiliation with Bucher Industries more visible.

futronic and Jetter have been part of the Swiss group for ten years. futronic said the rebranding of both companies to Bucher Automation would mark the next step in the integration process.

All companies of Jetter Group, also comprising of Jetter China and Jetter Ungarn, will be unified as Bucher Automation in future. The glass sector will be fortified, and recycling will be a new market segment.

The rebranding will also allow futronic to make greater use of the group’s network.

futronic said the name change would not have any impact on its working relationship – all contacts will remain the same and its everyday work processes will remain unchanged.

Christian Benz, CEO of Bucher Automation, said: “Bucher Industries has a clear corporate strategy of decentralised management – that is one of their recipes for success. For us this means that our work will hardly change - we continue to work on the success of our customers - but we can continue to benefit from the strong group behind us."

Bucher Automation is the control and automation specialist in the group and a supplier for a large part of Bucher Industries.

In the future, Bucher Automation will be a brand alongside companies such as Bucher Emhart Glass in the field of glass machines, Bucher Municipal in the field of municipal vehicles and Bucher Hydraulics as a specialist in electronic and hydraulic components, all of which are united under the umbrella of Bucher Industries.
