Gerresheimer has increased its pharmaceutical glass production capacity at its Lohr, Germany plant with the installation of a new furnace.
As a result of this investment, an additional production line for manufacturing lightweight articles has been put into operation and approximately 16 new jobs have been created.
According to the company, the furnace satisfies all statutory requirements of exhaust gases and air purity, and it has a completely sealed melting basin to improve energy efficiency.
