The top ten most read stories on the Glass International website in 2024 have been revealed.
Despite the subdued market, the year saw many positive developments, particularly around the topic of sustainability.
There was also considerable investment in Central and South America with new glass manufacturing plants revealed in Brazil and Paraguay.
Unfortunately the news was dominated by job cuts and closures, particularly in the second half of the year from Ardagh and in particular O-I Glass.
