Glass Service sponsors IYOG Opening Ceremony

IYOG sponsor Glass Service has designed Opening Ceremony lanyards for the event.

Glass Service is to sponsor the International Year of Glass’s Opening Ceremony next month.

The Czech furnace company said its Vice President Erik Muijsenberg’s involvement with ICG had prompted the group to sponsor the event.

Mr Muijsenberg has been involved as an ICG Steering Committee member supporting Prof. Alicia Duran and several ICG members in securing the UN IYOG.

GS said that they are proud to be an ICG-IYOG official sponsor, and have designed lanyards for the event (pictured above):

“We believe [the lanyards] will become a unique collector’s item with the once in a lifetime opportunity in this glass age.”

The Opening Ceremony will be held in Geneva, Switzerland this February.
