Glass Service to host seminar on Industry 4.0 and furnace design

Glass Service (GS) has will host the 14th International Seminar on Furnace Design – Operation and Process Simulation, on the 21-22 June 2017.

The seminar will be held at the beautiful and relaxing Hotel Horal mountain resort in Velke Karlovice, Czech Republic.

In conjunction with the seminar, on the 20th June the ICG Technical Committee 15 & 21 Meeting and the GS Glass Furnace Model (GFM) User Meeting will be held at the hotel.

The seminar is open to all wanting to learn more about Industry 4.0 and the optimisation of their glass melting furnaces.

The event takes place every two years and brings together more than 150 glass experts from around the world to discuss the use of simulation and control tools, with the goal of optimising the glass melting and forming process.

Participants who are willing to submit an abstract can do so until February 28.
