The Dutch-based platform for knowledge sharing and pre-competitive R&D for the glass industry, GlassTrend, is to provide a talk at the forthcoming Glass Problems conference (GPC).
It is the first time that GlassTrend has been invited to the GPC to present a talk about their mission and programme.
Speakers Bruno Purnode and Oscar Verheijen will provide a paper titled ‘GlassTrend to Benefit Glass Manufacturing’
GlassTrend was created in 2001 and now, more than 60 global companies cooperate in the field of smart and sustainable glass manufacturing.
Its recent emphasis has been on hydrogen combustion, process electrification, and the use of low-carbon raw materials.
The presentation at GPC will describe GlassTrend as the globally acknowledged glass consortium with a focus on its members, its events, collaboration with other organisations and examples of joint industry projects.
The organizer of GPC, the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council and GlassTrend are also co-organising a full day symposium in conjunction wit next year’s GPC focused on the Future of Glass Manufacturing.
The 83rd Conference on Glass Problems takes place October 31-November 4, 2022. More information via http://glassproblemsconference...
