Glaston to install tempering line at North American sunroom supplier

The tempering line will be installed in the third quarter of 2021.

Glaston has been commissioned to install its FC Series tempering line in the third quarter of 2021 at one of the largest suppliers of turnkey sunrooms in North America.

The order was registered in the company’s fourth quarter 2020 orderbook with the tempering line including special customer-tailored features as well as the latest Glaston technology.

In order to meet these requirements, the customer decided to invest in a FC Series tempering line equipped with Glaston’s Vortex Pro convection.

Once installed it will reportedly be one of the most advanced and automated high output furnaces in North America.

Due to extensive market demand for the company’s products, a push for early retirements and the influx of home improvements, the company, especially known as the supplier of patios and sunrooms, is expecting to double its sales in 2021.

In addition to growing demand, another reason for the installation is a trend for sunrooms with Low E glass is also visible in the market.
