Hellenic Glass Industry chooses Acmon for batch plant upgrade

Hellenic Glass Industry has assigned Acmon Systems to complete a Batch Plant renovation of its Biomedsklo plant in Ukraine.

Biomedsklo produces medical & standard container glass bottles between 30 ml and 2 lites in size through its 160 tpd furnace operation, established a year ago, via three production lines.

The scope of the project is to fully upgrade its existing lines by adding new PLC & WinCC /SCADA based on Siemens environment (an official Acmon group partner), advanced mixing control features and new electrical cabinets.

The assigned project includes complete production management software, (from raw materials reception up to production recipes), through ‘Trace Pro’ software suite, fully developed by Acmon Data.

This extended software application -that includes M.E.S. & W.M.S. modules - can integrate all the plant’s departments as well as exchange data with existing ERP.

The project is scheduled for commissioning later this month (November 2018).
