A container plant in Uzbekistan, which started production in October 2009, is operating successfully, reports the facility’s complete equipment supplier, Heye International.
The Asl Oyna plant in the country’s capital, Tashkent, commissioned Heye International to supply the complete production line, from the batch plant to IS machines, annealing lehrs and cold end equipment including palletisers. The German supplier also provided the engineering for the project, including utilities and workshops.
The plant operates two 8-section production lines from a 150 tpd furnace. Production personnel were trained by Heye International in Germany and on-site.
