German company Heye International reported a successful Mir Stekla exhibition held recently in Moscow, Russia.

It said the economies of the CIS countries continued to provide successful business opportunities for the glass container production technology group.

In recent years, the company’s dedicated sales and service experts for the region have established long-term partnerships with some of the region’s glass packaging manufacturers. The results of this year’s Mir Stekla confirmed its efforts.

The Heye team, consisting of Tatyana Lebedeva, Alexander Kaiser, Viktor Hensel and Ernst Bornemann (pictured with customers), were happy to have met so many customers during the event.

It reported that this year at least two new IS-Machines will go into operation, one of them as 12 section 5½ inch for NNPB bottles. NNPB is important for the CIS countries. It saves energy and increases customer convenience by lighter container weight.

Heye said it was carrying out several NNPB upgrades for customers. The feedback from the market was good and that Heye staff were glad to help customers to become more successful.

The company reported that its advanced Servo Feeders with Assortment Production (different weights on one machine) had proved to be popular.
