Hotwork International has begun preparation for a furnace drain at Saint-Gobain Glass’ Eggborough, UK plant.
The Egnach, Switzerland-based company will perform the glass furnace drain with full recycling and furnace cool down, and will later perform the heat up and fill in of the furnace.
Benjamin Köster, CEO of Hotwork International said: “It has been a challenging four months of 2021, with so many international projects still taking place which where affected of course by travel restrictions, quarantine etc.
“Thanks to the diligent work of our office team and also our on site crews, we have been able to manage all projects to clients satisfaction and in time and actually without positive Covid-19 cases.”
Mr Köster said that the Saint-Gobain Glass project is part of many developments all over the world.
“Besides the UK we have been working all over Europe, Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, Paraguay, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, The Philippines etc. and even down to New Caledonia.”
