Intelligent computation in glassmaking

A book has been published on the application of fuzzy logic, decision trees and neural networks in glass manufacture.

Computational Intelligence in Glass Manufacturing by Herbert Costa is available on amazon.com and shows the application of the three techniques for intelligent computation in glassmaking processes, which have been applied successfully in the areas of automation and control and fault detection, among others.

Herbert Costa is an electronic engineer who has worked in the areas of automation, electronics and telecommunications. He is currently a professor at the University Center of FEI in Brazil.
