The production of 30 industrial goods including glass has increased in Iran, despite recent sanctions.
Iranian deputy industries, mines and trade minister Mohsen Salehinia said steel, aluminum and glass production had increased.
Salehinia noted that sanctions have led to a drop in the production of home appliances, while vehicle manufacturing industries, which declined in the year to March 2006 had improved hugely.
The official announced that 1.65 million vehicles were produced in the year to March 2012.
Salehinia noted that a decline in liquidity and capital flow is the main factor that created problems for industrial units.
He stressed that privatization has not created problems for Arak's Pars Wagon Company, adding that a main part of difficulties pertain to international sanctions imposed on Iran.
