Robert Nusszer has been appointed to Managing Director of the global Sales Unit Glass of Rath Group.
Mr Nusszer had been Managing Director of Rath Hungaria but will now take on a new role after Rath consolidated all its resources and comprehensive know-how in the field of glass in one dedicated global sales unit at the beginning of 2021.
Rath provides high-quality refractory solutions and with the new global sales unit for glass, will be able to meet customer requirements even better in the future.
Together with his global team of glass application and sales engineers, 42-year-old Mr Nusszer will focus on promoting the sales unit’s four main product lines – furnace and forehearth refractories, feeder expendables, glasshouse crucibles and catalytic as well as non-catalytic filtration elements.
"With this new global structure and the bundling of all our glass competencies, I am convinced that we can now offer unique and extended concepts, products and services to our existing and potential customers”, says Mr Nusszer.
Mr Nusszer, who was born in Hungary, has been working for Rath since 2006 – with a brief interruption between 2014 and 2016 in the glass industry.
When Managing Director of Rath Hungaria, Mr Nusszer was responsible for and promoted the worldwide sales of Rath’s refractory products for the glass industry.
In addition, after the acquisition of the refractories production of Bucher Emhart Glass (in Owensville, USA), he was a member of the integration team and responsible for the sales integration of the newly founded company, Rath LLC, into the Rath Group.
