Nipro Pharma plots Indian glass furnace upgrade

Nipro's furnace investment at its Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India pharmaceutical glass facility will be in operation by the middle of next year.

Nipro Pharma Packaging is to upgrade its furnace at its Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India glass manufacturing facility.

The upgrade is designed to enhance its production capabilities and allow the pharmaceutical glass manufacturer to offer a broader array of glass tubing sizes.

The furnace will ensure more consistent and higher-quality products that adhere to industry standards and specifications.

It will incorporate energy-efficient technologies, which will reduce the facility’s environmental footprint.

The furnace is set to be in operation by the middle of 2025.
