Global container glass makers O-I and Stoelzle, and leading brewer Heineken have confirmed they will speak at the forthcoming Glassman Europe event in Lyon, France.
O-I, with its French headquarters in Lyon, will provide an opening, keynote speech.
Heineken’s Gert-Jan van Assen will discuss the company’s path to its greenest bottle.
Stoelzle Masnieres, Managing Director, Etienne Gruyez, will discuss the recent investment and transformation of the plant.
Other confirmed speakers at the conference, titled Trends in Glassmaking, include container glass association FEVE, former SABMiller Director Richard van Breda, the UK’s Glass Futures, and Pavel Bobosik, Director at Russian container glass manufacturer Ekran.
Lyon will become a hub of container glassmakers for two days in September.
The Glassman event includes an exhibition of leading equipment and machinery suppliers to the sector, a Future Glass Forum conference dedicated to Industry 4.0 in glassmaking as well as a FEVE meeting and Glass Service training seminar.
